Donald Trump is not Pro-life and Neither Are You

 

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Many of you may think you’re Pro-Life; but you’re wrong. Being Pro-Life is not just about abortion; it is about life on this earth as well. God knows your heart, and all of your friends and fellow Trump supporters will not fool Him. Let us delve in to this further. Let me assure you, Donald Trump could care less about abortion; he only cares about your vote. He is void of moral character, but you already know that.

Let’s talk about you. Your only concern pertains to the baby before it's birth - but you could care less once he or she is born? How is that Pro-Life? For example, let's take an African American baby; an offspring of that group you hate so much. The group you have now been given permission to openly hate from your true God - Donald Trump. I wonder what was in your heart when you looked at the picture on top this article. God knows exactly what you thought.

Okay, back to my example. You're already irritated by this woman for being African American; let's go one step further and even assume she is not married. You believe her to be promiscuous, solely because she's black. But once her baby is born, you could care less whether the baby is fed, have medical care, or even an education. You hypocrite! You now resent this child for taking up air, and intruding into your “world.” You're not Pro-Life and don't think for a second Jesus is buying it.

Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13

When you fight hard against a baby getting his or her needs met, you are far from being Pro-Life.

When you step over the homeless person on the sidewalk, and harbor resentment in your heart; you are not Pro-Life.

When you care less whether or not others have medical care – you are not Pro-Life.

When you secretly harbor in your heart the desire to destroy another race or believe that somehow you are better - you are not Pro-Life. 

When you have contempt for the poor - you are not Pro-Life.

When you esteem yourself highly over others, you are not Pro-Life.

Pro-life is about caring and loving all of God’s creation. It’s about loving others with skin colors other than our own. It’s about caring whether a person is hungry or not. It is incompatible with contempt for the poor. It is not about money or looking under a microscope to see where every dollar of our taxes go. It is broader than our own personal concerns, and surpasses our own individual life. Pro-life is about everyday living and every human being.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23
